About Wellenwerk

Who we are

Wellenwerk was born from an idea by Berlin-based founders who couldn't be more different—united by their love of surfing, good food, and the city they live in. With a great deal of initiative and passion, the capital's first standing wave was created on the former site of the Berlin Waterworks. What began as a surf spot has evolved into a unique event location in the heart of Berlin: urban, flexible, and full of possibilities.

Today, the Wellenwerk offers space for a wide variety of event formats – from creative team workshops and conferences to exclusive corporate events for up to 1,500 guests.

With our experience as hosts and a professional network, we create memorable events. Whether as a stage for brand presentations, a platform for socially relevant topics, or simply as a special place for special encounters – Wellenwerk is more than just a location: a place that inspires.
